RYTHM, Inc. (RYM) · Nov 4, 2026 · Earnings
In line — Q3 revenue $23.9M, up 4% sequentially; hemp sales $6.4M, up 15%
RYTHM earnings show modest sequential growth, stronger hemp-derived THC sales and positive EBITDA, but a looming federal deadline still defines the risk.
RYTHM is in the middle of a shift toward branded hemp-derived THC products, especially beverages sold through traditional retail, while licensing revenue supplies much of the financial base. The prior quarter established the growth trajectory, but also left the company exposed to an approaching federal restriction on hemp-derived THC products.
The operating business kept moving forward, but the pace cooled sharply from Q2. Revenue reached $23.9 million, only 4% above the prior quarter, while hemp-derived product sales rose 15% sequentially to $6.4 million. That is healthy execution against the company’s own trajectory, but it is not another acceleration like Q2’s 73% sequential revenue jump.
| Q3 2026 | Q3 2025 | Q2 2026 | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Revenue (Income Statement) | $23.9M (+490%) | $4.0M | $23.0M |
| Gross profit (Income Statement) | $18.4M (+1,235%) | $1.4M | — |
| Operating income (Income Statement) | $1.0M | $(8.9)M | — |
| Net income (Income Statement) | $(0.5)M | $(10.7)M | $1.2M |
| Adjusted EBITDA (EBITDA reconciliation) | $5.9M | $(6.5)M | $6.4M |
| Cash and equivalents (Balance Sheet) | $48.2M | — | $41.9M |
Beverage traction is real, but it is still an execution story rather than a full business reset. Beverage depletions rose approximately 15% sequentially to an annualized 320,000 cases, and the retail footprint expanded to roughly 8,000 doors across 18 states. 〔0〕 The key improvement is that the company is showing demand beyond its cannabis-channel base; the limitation is that quarterly revenue was nearly flat sequentially and adjusted EBITDA slipped modestly from Q2’s $6.4 million.
Profitability improved materially, but the balance sheet remains dependent on a narrow window. RYTHM produced positive operating income for the quarter and $5.9 million of adjusted EBITDA, while cash rose to $48.2 million. That gives the company room to operate, but current liabilities include $72.0 million of related-party debt and $8.6 million of current long-term debt (Balance Sheet), so the cash cushion is not equivalent to financial independence.
The federal-policy risk remains the dominant constraint on the story. The filing warns that Congress may fail to amend or repeal the pending hemp restriction before its December 11, 2026 effective date. 〔1〕 Because hemp-derived products are now a meaningful growth engine, the quarter demonstrates commercial momentum without resolving the question of whether that momentum can continue under the coming rules.
Bottom line: This is a modestly encouraging quarter operationally: beverages grew, margins stayed strong, and the company remained profitable on an adjusted basis. But versus the standing story, it is more confirmation than acceleration, and the federal deadline still matters more than the quarter’s incremental growth.
