Miss — Diluted EPS $0.85 vs ~$0.97 consensus; FY adjusted EBITDA guide raised to $530-$560M from $520-$560M
Delek Logistics’ Q3 earnings missed the published EPS bar, yet management lifted the low end of 2026 adjusted EBITDA guidance as Libby growth advances.
Delek Logistics is in the middle of shifting from a sponsor-linked midstream operator toward a more third-party-driven Delaware Basin platform, with its Libby sour-gas treating and acid-gas injection system intended to unlock the next leg of growth. That project and the partnership’s economic separation from Delek were already the standing story before this filing.
The quarter itself missed the earnings bar. Diluted EPS was $0.85 versus a published consensus near $0.97, while adjusted EBITDA was essentially flat year over year at $142.9 million versus $142.5 million. The operating result was better than the headline net income suggests, but not enough to clear the market’s expected step-up.
| Figure | Q3 2026 | Q3 2025 | Consensus |
|---|---|---|---|
| Diluted EPS (Statement of Income) | $0.85 | $0.85 | ~$0.97 |
| Adjusted EBITDA (Adjusted EBITDA reconciliation) | $142.9M (+0.3%) | $142.5M | |
| Adjusted distributable cash flow (DCF table) | $73.1M (-1.4%) | $74.1M | |
| DCF coverage ratio (Coverage Ratio Calculation) | 1.11x | 1.24x | |
| Net cash from operating activities (Cash Flow Statement) | $187.9M (+242%) | $54.9M |
Management raised the low end of full-year guidance, but the surprise is limited. The 2026 adjusted EBITDA range moved from $520 million-$560 million to $530 million-$560 million, adding $10 million at the floor but leaving the ceiling unchanged. The direction is better than the prior guide, but the market had already been primed for an upgrade after management signaled confidence in the high end of the old range.
The underlying business is improving, but cash-flow conversion remains the tension. Gathering and processing was the main EBITDA driver, and the Libby system has reached construction completion and is moving into commissioning. 〔0〕 Yet adjusted DCF slipped despite stable adjusted EBITDA, and coverage fell to 1.11x from 1.24x as distributions rose and working-capital movements absorbed cash. The balance sheet is healthier than a year ago: debt fell to roughly $2.1 billion and leverage improved to about 3.85x from 4.44x, helped by the August equity offering, whose proceeds repaid revolver borrowings.
Bottom line: This is a mixed quarter: the operating platform is advancing and guidance improves, but the actual earnings print missed expectations and distribution coverage weakened. The filing modestly strengthens the growth story rather than materially changing it, with the Libby ramp now the proof point for the next upgrade.
