Tecnoglass Holdings Inc. (TGLS) · Nov 5, 2026 · Earnings
Beat — Adj. EPS $0.61 vs ~$0.59 consensus; revenue $310.6M vs ~$284M consensus
Tecnoglass earnings brought record revenue and a higher sales outlook, but tariff, aluminum and currency costs sharply compressed profitability.
Tecnoglass is in a high-demand expansion phase: its Colombia-based window and architectural-glass platform is gaining share in U.S. residential, multifamily and commercial construction, while pricing, automation and geographic expansion are meant to offset tariffs and a stronger Colombian peso. Before this report, the market already expected strong revenue growth but was focused on whether those countermeasures could repair margins; published Q3 estimates were roughly $284 million of revenue and $0.59 of EPS.
The top line materially cleared expectations. Revenue reached a record $310.6 million, up 19.2% year over year, versus published expectations around $284 million; multifamily and commercial revenue led with 30.9% growth, while single-family revenue rose only 4.1% as customers pulled orders forward ahead of May pricing.

|---|---|---|---|
| Revenue (Financial Highlights) | $310.6M (+19.2%) | $260.5M | ~$284M consensus |
| Adjusted EPS (Adjusted net income reconciliation) | $0.61 | $1.00 | ~$0.59 consensus |
| Adjusted EBITDA (Adjusted EBITDA reconciliation) | $47.7M (-39.8%) | $79.1M | — |
| Adjusted EBITDA margin (Management discussion) | 15.3% | 30.4% | — |
| FY2026 revenue outlook (Guidance) | $1.10B-$1.14B | — | $1.08B-$1.12B prior guide |
| FY2026 adjusted EBITDA outlook (Guidance) | $210M-$220M | — | $220M-$230M prior guide |
The earnings beat is narrow because profitability is still the problem. Adjusted EPS of $0.61 was slightly above the roughly $0.59 consensus, but adjusted EBITDA fell nearly 40% and margin halved to 15.3%. The filing attributes the damage to tariffs, expensive aluminum bought earlier in the year, labor and transportation costs, and the peso’s appreciation; the $8.4 million inventory revaluation was non-cash, but the broader cost pressure was not.
Management raised revenue expectations but cut the profit outlook. The new $1.10 billion-$1.14 billion revenue range is above the prior $1.08 billion-$1.12 billion range, confirming that backlog and demand remain intact. But adjusted EBITDA guidance fell to $210 million-$220 million from $220 million-$230 million, showing that the company is growing faster than it is currently monetizing that growth.
The longer-term operating story is advancing, but the payoff is deferred. Backlog reached a record $1.43 billion, pricing actions are beginning to flow through residential invoicing, and automation savings are expected to build into 2027. That supports the demand thesis, but it does not yet prove that pricing and efficiency gains can fully offset tariffs and currency pressure.
Bottom line: This was a revenue beat and a modestly better-than-expected EPS quarter, but not a clean earnings win. Tecnoglass is still adding demand and backlog; the immediate story is whether pricing and automation can restore the margin lost to tariffs, aluminum and currency costs.
