Beat — Adj. EPS $7.54 vs ~$7.20 consensus; FY guide midpoint raised to $28.00
Corpay earnings beat Q3 expectations on strong corporate-payments growth, while another 2026 guidance raise lifts the bar again.
Corpay is in the middle of shifting its growth engine toward corporate payments, cross-border services and AP automation, while still carrying a large vehicle-payments business. Corporate Payments had already become more than 40% of revenue in management’s 2026 plan, following the Alpha acquisition and investment alongside TPG in AvidXchange.
The quarter cleared both the company’s guide and published expectations. Adjusted diluted EPS was $7.54 versus the company’s prior Q3 midpoint of $7.15 and roughly $7.20 consensus; revenue was $1.382 billion versus the prior midpoint of $1.355 billion and roughly $1.36 billion consensus. The beat is meaningful, though not transformational.
| Q3 2026 | Q3 2025 | Consensus / prior guide | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Revenue (Financial Highlights) | $1,381.9M (+17.9%) | $1,172.5M | ~$1,360M consensus |
| Adjusted diluted EPS (Adjusted net income) | $7.54 (+32.3%) | $5.70 | ~$7.20 consensus |
| Organic revenue growth (Management commentary) | 11% | — | 10% in Q2 |
| Adjusted EBITDA margin (EBITDA reconciliation) | 57.4% | 57.7% | — |
| FY26 revenue guidance midpoint (Guidance table) | $5.350B | — | $5.310B prior midpoint |
| FY26 adjusted EPS guidance midpoint (Guidance table) | $28.00 | — | $27.35 prior midpoint |
The strongest evidence is that the growth is not only acquisition-driven. Corporate Payments produced 18% organic revenue growth, and company-wide organic growth reached 11%, maintaining the double-digit run rate that has been central to Corpay’s repositioning. The filing says, “Organic revenue growth for the quarter was 11%.” 〔0〕 Corporate Payments revenue rose 18% on a pro forma and macro-adjusted basis, while spend volume increased 24%; however, revenue per spend dollar declined 5%, so volume—not pricing or monetization—did most of the work. Management raised the full-year bar rather than merely repeating it. The new midpoint is $5.35 billion of revenue and $28.00 of adjusted EPS, up from the prior $5.31 billion and $27.35 midpoint. That is a modest revision, but it confirms that the Q3 outperformance is carrying into the fourth quarter: “We are raising our full-year 2026 outlook to reflect our strong third quarter results and improved expectations for the fourth quarter.”
The main limitation is that profitability did not expand. Adjusted EBITDA margin was 57.4%, slightly below 57.7% a year ago, while interest expense rose 9% and the company continued to rely on substantial adjustments to reach adjusted earnings. That does not negate the beat, but it means the quarter shows strong execution and growth more clearly than it shows operating leverage.
Buybacks amplified per-share results but also used significant capital. Corpay repurchased $747 million of stock in the quarter and $1.85 billion through September, helping diluted shares fall about 7% year over year. The program supports EPS growth, but it comes alongside sizable financing activity and does not substitute for underlying revenue growth. (Cash Flow statement; Management commentary) “Through the end of the quarter we've repurchased 5.25 million shares for $1.85billion.”
Bottom line: This is a clear positive update to Corpay’s operating story: the corporate-payments pivot is producing sustained double-digit organic growth, the quarter beat expectations, and management raised the 2026 outlook again. The signal is strong execution, not a wholesale rewrite of the business.
