Beat — Adjusted EPS $0.34 vs ~$0.31 consensus; revenue $314.7M vs ~$303.6M
TaskUs earnings beat Q3 revenue expectations and raised 2026 sales and cash-flow guidance, but falling margins and adjusted EPS temper the AI-led growth story.
TaskUs is in the middle of an AI-led business shift: AI Services has been its fastest-growing offering, while Digital Customer Experience growth has been accelerating. That backdrop was already established before this report, so the question was whether growth could continue without further margin damage.
The quarter beat the market on revenue and adjusted earnings. Service revenue reached $314.7 million, up 5.4% year over year, versus published consensus of approximately $303.6 million; adjusted EPS was $0.34 versus roughly $0.31 expected. The revenue result also exceeded the company’s own prior guidance ceiling by $12.7 million.
| Q3 2026 | Q3 2025 | Consensus | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Service revenue (Financial Highlights) | $314.7M (+5.4%) | $298.7M | ~$303.6M |
| Adjusted EPS (Adjusted EPS reconciliation) | $0.34 | $0.42 | ~$0.31 |
| Adjusted EBITDA margin (Financial Highlights) | 18.8% | 21.2% | |
| FY revenue outlook (2026 Outlook) | $1,249–$1,251M | $1,220–$1,240M prior guide | |
| FY adjusted free cash flow outlook (2026 Outlook) | $115–$125M | $110–$120M prior guide |
The most important business signal is the raised outlook, not just the quarterly beat. TaskUs lifted full-year revenue guidance by $20 million at the midpoint and raised adjusted free-cash-flow guidance by $5 million. Management also said AI Services grew 28% and that revenue excluding its largest client rose nearly 20%, suggesting the diversification effort is producing real demand rather than relying entirely on one account.
Profitability remains the limiting factor. Adjusted EBITDA fell 6.8% year over year, adjusted EBITDA margin dropped to 18.8% from 21.2%, and adjusted EPS declined 19%. The stronger revenue trajectory is therefore not yet translating into better earnings power; cost pressure, financing expense, and the ongoing transformation are still absorbing much of the growth.
Cash generation is improving year to date, but the quarter was uneven. Nine-month adjusted free cash flow rose 32.1% to $101.6 million, supporting the higher full-year target, although third-quarter adjusted free cash flow fell 52.1% and conversion dropped sharply. The balance sheet also carries materially more debt after the 2026 refinancing and dividend financing, which makes margin recovery more important even as the operating story improves.
Bottom line: This is a genuine earnings beat with a meaningful upward revision to revenue and cash-flow expectations. It strengthens TaskUs’s AI-led growth story, but the falling margins and earnings show that the business has not yet converted that growth into cleaner profitability.
