ZoomInfo earnings beat revenue estimates as full-year guidance rises

Beat — Revenue $308.8M vs ~$302.8M consensus

ZoomInfo earnings beat revenue expectations and modestly lifted full-year guidance, while declining sales and cash flow show the AI pivot has yet to reignite growth.

ZoomInfo is trying to turn a slowing seat-based sales-intelligence business into a broader AI and enterprise go-to-market platform, using and agent products to move upmarket. That transition is showing some customer traction, but the core business is not yet back to growth: the prior quarter’s outlook called for Q3 revenue of $298–$301 million and adjusted EPS of $0.28–$0.29, while published estimates centered near $302.8 million of revenue and $0.29 of adjusted EPS.

The quarter beat on revenue and adjusted operating profit, but not on adjusted EPS. Revenue of $308.8 million came in above both the prior guide and published consensus, while adjusted operating income reached $119.1 million versus the prior $113–$115 million guide. Adjusted EPS of $0.29 landed at the top end of the company’s prior range and roughly in line with consensus. The better operating result is meaningful because it came despite revenue falling 3% year over year, suggesting cost control is carrying the near-term earnings story more than renewed demand.

The full-year outlook improved, but only modestly. FY 2026 revenue guidance moved to $1.2235–$1.2265 billion from $1.207–$1.217 billion, while adjusted operating income rose to $452–$455 million from $446–$451 million. That is a genuine step forward versus the standing plan, but the size of the increase is limited and the implied fourth-quarter revenue range of $294–$297 million still points to year-over-year contraction rather than a clear return to growth.

The AI and enterprise narrative is encouraging but not yet proven in the income statement. ZoomInfo announced Agent Teams and highlighted stronger large-customer ACV, including 4% growth in ACV from customers spending at least $100,000 annually. However, the number of those customers fell 2%, revenue declined, and operating cash flow fell 49% year over year. The filing therefore supports improving monetization and efficiency at the top end of the customer base, not yet broad-based demand acceleration.

Balance-sheet actions are mildly constructive, but cash generation is under pressure. The company repurchased $34.8 million of senior notes for $31.1 million, recording a $3.4 million gain and reducing annual cash interest by $1.3 million. That helps the debt burden at the margin, but cash and restricted cash declined to $162.8 million from $185.7 million at year-end, while nine-month operating cash flow fell to $249.4 million from $321.9 million.

Bottom line: This was a modest beat with a modestly better outlook, not a reset of the growth story. ZoomInfo is executing its AI and enterprise transition efficiently, but declining revenue, customer counts, and cash flow mean the turnaround still needs proof in future quarters.
