Beat — Adjusted EPS $1.04 vs ~$0.90 consensus; revenue $458.5M vs ~$432.1M consensus
ParkOhio’s Q3 earnings beat consensus, with sales up 15% and adjusted EPS of $1.04. The company also raised its 2026 revenue and EPS guidance again.
ParkOhio is an industrial supply-chain and engineered-manufacturing company trying to shift its mix toward higher-value, faster-growing markets such as semiconductors, AI data centers, aerospace and defense, electrical infrastructure, and aftermarket equipment services. Its three segments—Supply Technologies, Assembly Components and Engineered Products—serve that strategy, with Engineered Products and Supply Technologies currently carrying the strongest momentum.
The quarter was clearly ahead of the market’s bar. Third-quarter revenue reached $458.5 million versus published consensus of roughly $432.1 million, while adjusted EPS was $1.04 versus about $0.90 expected. That is a meaningful beat, not merely a result of accounting adjustments: GAAP diluted EPS from continuing operations was $0.97, compared with $0.39 a year earlier, and operating income rose to $26.6 million from $17.3 million.
| Metric | Q3 2026 | Q3 2025 | Consensus / prior guide |

| Operating income (Income Statement) | $26.6M (+53.8%) | $17.3M | |
| EBITDA, as defined (EBITDA reconciliation) | $40.9M (+19.6%) | $34.2M | |
| FY26 revenue outlook (Outlook) | $1.75B–$1.77B | $1.70B–$1.73B prior guide | |
| FY26 adjusted EPS outlook (Outlook) | $3.35–$3.50 | $3.10–$3.30 prior guide |
The stronger part of the story is broad operating execution, not just one end market. Supply Technologies delivered record $225.2 million of revenue and 9.5% operating margins, while Engineered Products grew revenue 12% and lifted operating margin to 7.0% from 2.9%. Assembly Components was less spectacular but still grew 7% and improved margins to 5.4% from 4.8%.
The guidance raise makes the beat more durable. Management lifted the full-year revenue range by $50 million at the midpoint and adjusted EPS by $0.175 at the midpoint, while leaving its EBITDA-margin and free-cash-flow ranges unchanged. That combination says demand and margins are running ahead of the prior plan, but cash conversion remains a constraint rather than an incremental upside surprise. The market already knew the company was benefiting from semiconductor, aerospace and industrial demand; the new information is that the strength is exceeding the assumptions embedded in the prior August outlook.
Engineered Products provides tangible forward support, while SSP remains the unresolved drag. Equipment bookings were $53 million and backlog reached $242 million, up 18% from year-end, giving the capital-equipment business a visible base for future revenue. But the Southwest Steel Processing review is still unfinished, and SSP is expected to lose about $0.46 per share in 2026; management’s upside case depends partly on removing or monetizing that weak asset.
Bottom line: This is a meaningful upgrade to ParkOhio’s operating story: the company beat a low-to-moderate consensus bar across revenue and adjusted EPS, then raised its full-year outlook again. The main caveat is that cash flow and the loss-making SSP business still keep the improvement from being a complete business-model reset.
