Beat — Adjusted EPS $0.93 vs. $0.72-$0.78 prior guide; revenue $620.1M vs. $570-$590M guide
Ralliant earnings beat Q3 expectations on accelerating revenue, stronger margins and broad demand, prompting higher full-year guidance.
Ralliant is a newly independent precision-technology company pushing into defense, grid modernization, power infrastructure and AI-related electronics while using its Ralliant Business System to expand margins. Its two segments serve those growth markets through sensors, safety systems, test equipment and measurement tools.
The quarter was materially ahead of the company’s own bar, not just a favorable presentation. Revenue reached $620.1 million, well above the prior $570-$590 million outlook, while adjusted EPS was $0.93 versus the prior $0.72-$0.78 range. The published market estimate was roughly $0.65 of adjusted EPS, so the result was a substantial beat rather than merely an in-line delivery.
| Metric | Q3 2026 | Q3 2025 | Prior guide / consensus |
|---|---|---|---|
| Revenue (Financial Statements) | $620.1M (+17.2%) | $529.1M | $570M-$590M guide |
| Adjusted EPS (Non-GAAP reconciliation) | $0.93 (+63.2%) | $0.57 normalized | $0.72-$0.78 guide; ~$0.65 consensus |
| Adjusted EBITDA margin (Non-GAAP reconciliation) | 23.5% (+400 bps) | 19.5% normalized | 20.5%-21.5% guide |
| Operating cash flow (Cash Flow statement) | $111.3M (-19.7%) | $138.6M |
The most important improvement is operating leverage. Both segments grew, with Sensors and Safety Systems revenue up 15.1% organically and Test and Measurement up 20.7%; Test and Measurement also moved from a $1.7 million operating loss last year to $21.7 million of profit. That supports the claim that the improvement is not confined to one end market. 〔0〕
Margins and productivity are advancing faster than the prior setup implied. Company adjusted EBITDA margin reached 23.5%, above the prior 20.5%-21.5% target, while Ralliant accelerated its productivity program and now expects to exit 2026 with $30-$35 million of annualized savings, on the way to $50-$60 million by 2028. 〔1〕
The caveat is cash conversion this quarter. Operating cash flow and free cash flow were below the prior-year quarter as receivables and inventories absorbed cash, although trailing-twelve-month free cash flow remained strong at $303 million and the company ended the quarter with $366 million of cash against $1.15 billion of long-term debt.
Bottom line: This is a clear execution upgrade to Ralliant’s standing story: demand is accelerating, the weaker Test and Measurement segment is recovering, and margins are scaling faster than expected. The quarterly cash-flow dip is worth monitoring, but it does not offset a broad earnings beat paired with higher full-year guidance.
