Beat — Revenue $258.6M vs ~$244M consensus; adjusted EPS ~$0.52 vs ~$0.35
Flowco’s Q3 earnings beat revenue and EPS expectations, while strong cash flow offset softer margins and a temporary rental boost.
Flowco is expanding from its U.S.-focused production-optimization base—artificial lift, rental equipment and natural-gas systems—through the Valiant ESP acquisition and the newly completed Lifting Solutions deal. Its prior quarter showed strong demand but some cost pressure, while Valiant was already outperforming expectations.
The quarter cleared the market’s bar by a meaningful margin. Revenue reached $258.6 million versus published expectations of roughly $244 million, while adjusted EPS was approximately $0.52 versus roughly $0.35 expected. Adjusted EBITDA of $103.9 million also exceeded the high end of management’s own range. 〔0〕
| Q3 2026 | Q3 2025 | Consensus | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Revenue (Financial Summary) | $258.6M (+46.2%) | $176.9M | ~$244M |
| Adjusted EPS (Income Statement) | ~$0.52 | ~$0.41 | ~$0.35 |
| Adjusted EBITDA (Financial Summary) | $103.9M (+35.2%) | $76.8M | |
| Adjusted EBITDA margin (Financial Summary) | 40.2% (-3.2 pts) | 43.4% | |
| Free cash flow (Free Cash Flow reconciliation) | $72.4M (+69.1%) | $42.8M |
Cash generation is the strongest part of the report. Operating cash flow rose to $103.1 million and free cash flow reached $72.4 million, equal to 69.7% conversion of adjusted EBITDA. That gives Flowco room to fund acquisitions and return capital, although the balance sheet also shows substantially higher debt after its acquisition-led expansion.
The earnings beat is not entirely clean. About $9 million of Production Solutions revenue came from accelerated rental revenue tied to equipment releases, which Flowco says it is still working to redeploy. Production Solutions improved, but Natural Gas Technologies’ margin fell to 38.6% from 49.3% a year earlier as sales grew faster than higher-margin rental activity.
Capital allocation is becoming more aggressive. The company declared its regular $0.09 quarterly dividend and expanded its share-repurchase authorization to $200 million, while availability under its revolving facility declined to $364.8 million from $446.4 million in the prior quarter. The message is that cash generation is funding both shareholder returns and continued M&A, but leverage and integration execution now matter more to the story.
Bottom line: Flowco beat expectations and produced excellent cash flow, strengthening the execution story. The upside is tempered by lower margins, a temporary rental-revenue boost and a more leveraged, acquisition-heavy next phase.
