Fusemachines Inc. (FUSE) · Nov 3, 2026 · Earnings
In line — Revenue $1.85M vs $1.79M prior quarter; operating loss $2.3M vs $2.7M
Fusemachines earnings show better cost control and a narrower operating loss, but modest revenue growth, dilution and going-concern risk remain central.
Fusemachines is a small enterprise-AI company trying to turn products such as AI Studio, AI Engines and AI Agents into scalable commercial growth while it remains dependent on outside capital. Its recent strategy has emphasized agentic AI products and enterprise adoption, but the prior quarter already showed weak liquidity, negative operating cash flow and substantial doubt about its ability to continue without financing.
The operating trend improved, but only modestly. Revenue rose to $1.85 million from $1.79 million, while operating expenses fell 9.8% and the GAAP operating loss narrowed 14.0% to $2.3 million. Adjusted EBITDA loss also narrowed to $1.4 million from $2.3 million, showing that the restructuring is reducing the cost base faster than revenue is growing. 〔0〕
| Q3 2026 | Q2 2026 | Dec. 31, 2025 | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Revenue (Financial Highlights) | $1.85M | $1.79M | |
| GAAP operating loss (Financial Highlights) | $(2.3)M | $(2.7)M | |
| Adjusted EBITDA loss (Financial Highlights) | $(1.4)M | $(2.3)M | |
| GAAP net loss (Financial Highlights) | $(4.6)M | $(2.8)M | |
| Cash and equivalents (Balance Sheet) | $1.454M | $4.221M | |
| Stockholders’ deficit (Balance Sheet) | $(8.215)M | $(14.576)M | |
| Shares outstanding (Balance Sheet) | 32.425M | 28.938M |
The headline net loss got worse, not better. GAAP net loss widened to $4.6 million because of a $2.2 million non-cash loss tied to the forward purchase derivative liability, so the bottom-line deterioration is largely accounting-driven rather than a direct collapse in operations. Still, the company remains deeply unprofitable and continues to burn cash.
The balance-sheet improvement was financing-driven, not earned through the business. Stockholders’ deficit improved by $9.1 million, but the filing attributes that primarily to forward purchase transactions and shares issued to settle vendor invoices and employee obligations. Shares outstanding rose to 32.4 million from 28.9 million at year-end, meaning the improvement came with meaningful dilution rather than operating cash generation.
The central financing risk is unchanged. Cash was $1.45 million at September 30, while the company still reported negative operating cash flow, a stockholders’ deficit and substantial doubt about continuing as a going concern. That is materially better than the $0.37 million of cash reported at June 30, but the prior quarter had already established that Fusemachines needed additional equity or debt financing to sustain operations. 〔1〕
Bottom line: This quarter confirms real cost-control progress, but not a durable growth or self-funding business yet. Versus the standing story, the operating execution is roughly in line; the financing dependence and dilution still keep the overall read slightly negative.
