Beat — Adjusted EPS $1.38 vs ~$1.30 consensus
Revvity’s Q3 earnings beat expectations, powered by 7% organic growth and expanding margins, while full-year guidance moved modestly higher.
Revvity is in the middle of a transformation from a recently pressured life-sciences and diagnostics portfolio toward steadier organic growth, better operating leverage, and a smaller China diagnostics footprint. Its prior full-year 2026 framework called for $2.83–$2.86 billion of revenue, 4%–5% organic growth, and $5.30–$5.40 of adjusted EPS, so the key question was whether the recovery was becoming broad and durable.
The quarter cleared expectations on both earnings and revenue. Adjusted EPS was $1.38, ahead of the published consensus of roughly $1.30, while revenue reached $728.9 million versus expectations near $695 million; pro forma revenue was $709.6 million. The filing also reports 7% pro forma organic growth, compared with the 4%–5% full-year target previously in place.
| Q3 2026 | Q3 2025 | Consensus | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Revenue (Financial Highlights) | $728.9M (+4.3%) | $698.9M | ~$694.7M |
| Adjusted EPS (Supplemental information) | $1.38 (+16.9%) | $1.18 | ~$1.30 |
| Pro forma organic growth (Organic revenue growth) | 7% | — | — |
| Adjusted operating margin (Revenue and adjusted operating income) | 28.7% (+2.6 pts) | 26.1% | — |
The improvement is becoming more balanced, led by Life Sciences but no longer dependent on it alone. Life Sciences revenue rose 11% pro forma and 9% organically, with adjusted operating margin expanding to 31.5% from 29.5%. Diagnostics revenue was down 2% on a reported basis, but its pro forma organic revenue grew 5% and its margin jumped to 29.9% from 25.1%.
The guidance move is positive, but incremental rather than transformational. Revvity now expects approximately $2.86 billion of pro forma revenue, roughly 5% organic growth, and $5.40–$5.45 of adjusted EPS, lifting the EPS range above the prior $5.30–$5.40 framework and placing the midpoint modestly above the published consensus near $5.35. The raised outlook validates the recovery, but the revenue ceiling is only at the top of the previous range rather than a major reset.
The reported numbers still contain a meaningful restructuring burden, but the underlying operating trend is stronger. Quarterly restructuring and other charges rose to $28.4 million from $9.9 million, yet adjusted operating income increased to $209.3 million and adjusted margin expanded to 28.7%. That makes the improvement more credible as operating execution, while also showing that the transformation is not yet finished. The China Immunodiagnostics divestiture remains a known background item, representing about 6% of 2025 revenue and expected to close by the end of 2027; the pro forma presentation removes that business from the forward outlook.
Bottom line: This is a clear earnings beat with broadening organic growth, better margins, and a modestly higher full-year outlook. It strengthens Revvity’s recovery story without rewriting it; the November 13 Investor Day is the next test of how much of this improvement management believes can persist.
