Vistance Networks dividend adds $1.50 as Aurora becomes core

$1.50 special distribution — $1.50 per share; $16.50 in special distributions this year

Vistance Networks announces another $1.50 special dividend, bringing 2026 distributions to $16.50 while its post-Ruckus Aurora strategy takes shape.

Vistance is now a post-divestiture company centered on Aurora Networks. It sold the RUCKUS business to Belden for approximately $1.846 billion in cash, leaving Aurora as the continuing operating segment and making capital allocation after the sale the immediate strategic issue.

The filing confirms another cash return, rather than changing the operating story. The Board approved $1.50 per share for payment on November 6, with holders of record on October 26. That brings announced special distributions this year to $16.50 per share.

Versus expectations, this is partly known and only incrementally informative. Management had already signaled that excess cash from the RUCKUS sale would largely be returned to shareholders, and the company had already declared a $5.00 special distribution after closing. The new information is the additional $1.50 amount and timing—not a fresh change in strategic direction.

The trade-off is straightforward: shareholders receive more cash, while Aurora gets no new operating investment from this announcement. The payment will be funded with available cash, including RUCKUS-sale proceeds, and the company says it remains focused on Aurora’s strategic plan. The unusually large distribution also means the ex-dividend date falls after payment, on November 9, under the cited Nasdaq rule.

Bottom line: This is a tangible but largely expected continuation of the post-RUCKUS cash-return program. It matters for capital allocation, not because it advances Aurora’s business execution.
