$180.2M SKY NAV — $180.2M vs $119.2M at June 30
Stablecoin Development’s Q3 holdings update shows SKY NAV rising to $180.2 million, while token accumulation and staking remain largely unchanged.
SDEV is now an on-chain holding company built around accumulating and staking SKY to gain exposure to the Sky Protocol’s economic activity, rather than an operating pharmaceutical business. This filing confirms that strategy is continuing, not changing: “As of September 30, 2026, the Company held 2,321,079,862 SKY tokens (“SKY”), the governance token of the Sky Protocol, substantially all of which was deployed in the Sky Protocol’s staking smart contract.” 〔0〕
| Metric | September 30, 2026 | June 30, 2026 / prior period |
|---|---|---|
| SKY holdings | 2.321 billion tokens (Digital asset holdings update) | 2.287 billion tokens (Digital asset holdings update) |
| Digital Asset NAV | $180.2 million (Digital asset holdings update) | $119.2 million (Digital asset holdings update) |
| Q3 staking rewards | 34.6 million SKY (Digital asset holdings update) | 31.7 million SKY in Q2 (Staking) |
| ATM capacity remaining | $83.2 million (Acquisition and Monetization Policies) | $83.2 million (same disclosure) |
The headline improvement is asset value, not a major increase in ownership. Digital Asset NAV rose about 51% from $119.2 million to $180.2 million, while SKY holdings increased only about 1.5% from June 30 to October 2. The filing attributes the quarter-end NAV to a SKY price of $0.07764, so most of the reported increase reflects token-price appreciation rather than fresh capital deployment.
Staking is producing a continuing operating contribution, but the strategy remains highly concentrated. SDEV earned 34.6 million SKY in third-quarter staking rewards and has retained and re-staked them, while continuing to hold roughly 10% of total SKY supply. 〔1〕 That supports the company’s stated “productive asset” thesis, but it also leaves essentially the entire balance sheet exposed to one token, whose reported 30-day average trading volume was only about $18.6 million against a $180.2 million position (Business and Risk Factors). The filing also says the company has not sold any SKY, so the higher NAV has not yet been converted into cash or realized gains. 〔2〕
The disclosure is more confirmation than surprise. The market already knew SDEV was targeting approximately 10% of SKY supply and planned to stake substantially all of its holdings; the new information is the quarter-end mark, the reward accumulation, and the lack of monetization. The eventual 10-Q matters because these figures are preliminary and unaudited, and it will provide the completed quarter’s financial statements.
Bottom line: The update advances SDEV’s staking-and-accumulation story and shows a materially larger asset base, but it does not change the strategy or reduce its dependence on SKY’s price and liquidity. The improvement is real on paper, while the business remains a concentrated, largely unrealized digital-asset position.
