HEICO CORP (HEI) — what happened, in plain English, and what it means versus what the market expected.

The quarter cleared already-high expectations. Published consensus was approximately $1.51 for diluted EPS and $1.35 billion of revenue; HEICO delivered $1.67 and $1.413 billion, putting both headline measures clearly ahead.

This was more than an acquisition-only beat. Management reported 14% consolidated organic sales growth, while Flight Support grew organically 12% and Electronic Technologies 18%; that makes the upside more durable than a result driven solely by recently purchased businesses. 〔0〕

Profitability was the strongest part of the report. Operating income grew faster than revenue, lifting the consolidated margin to 25.1% from 23.1%. Both divisions contributed: Flight Support's margin rose to 25.9% from 24.7%, while Electronic Technologies expanded to 26.0% from 22.8%. The filing attributes the gains to better mix and SG&A efficiency, particularly in aerospace products and aftermarket parts. 〔1〕

The beat also came with better cash generation and manageable leverage. Quarterly operating cash flow rose to $345.3 million, while trailing net debt-to-EBITDA improved to 1.57x from 1.60x despite substantial acquisition spending. The new $1.2 billion senior-note offering refinanced revolving borrowings, extending funding but adding meaningful fixed interest expense.

Net: a broad, high-quality beat rather than a routine record quarter. Acquisitions and continued demand were already part of the setup, so the event is partly known; the surprise is the magnitude, especially the combination of a revenue beat, 14% organic growth and 200 basis points of margin expansion. Management continued to expect increased sales across both groups for the rest of fiscal 2026, but supplied no new quantified full-year target.
